How To Save Step By Step To Your Own Folder

 1. In the upper left hand corner choose File, then Save As...

2. Type in the name you chose for your document in the Save As box (THE NAME OF YOUR DOCUMENT SHOULD BE YOUR LAST NAME AND THEN THE NAME OF THE DOCUMENT, EX: KREUL WAR OF 1812.doc), then you may have to click on the arrow to the right of the Save As box.

If your screen looks like the image below, then the drop down arrow is necessary.

3. Once you have the option to look through your devices on the left, click on Student Mac(it should also have the number of your computer behind it).

4. Then select your folder.

5. Remember that you can choose what layout you look at your files in, these include column, list and icons.

You can change these settings in your upper left hand corner of your save box.
