Dear Parents,


Enclosed you will find the the 2007-2008 concession stand schedule. We are looking forward to another successful year. For those of you working the concession stand for the first time, we would like to welcome you and explain how it works. The P.T.O. is in charge of and receives the proceeds from the concession stand. This year we have scheduled the 5th thru 12th grade parents to work one night out of the school year. The names of the Co-Chair person(s) is listed below and will be at each game to open and close the concession stand as well as answer any questions that you may have. Please plan on arriving 20 minutes before the start of each game.

If you are unable to work your scheduled time, you will need to contact someone to switch with you or someone to take you place. Husbands as well as high school students (Highland Servant Leadership Program) are always welcone to work. If you absolutely cannot find a replacement, please contact one of the co-chair persons, of the spot that you are scheduled to work so they can possibly find a replacement for you. If we all work together it makes it much easier for the co-chairpersons and all those involved and no one is left working alone.

Proceeds from the concession stand benefit all the students through out Scales Mound School, not only those that participate in sports. For example, we purchase books for the Library, pay for assemblies for the elementary and high school, purchase new playground equipment as well as make donations towards new sports equipment.

The Scales Mound P.T.O. and Concession Stand Coordinator, Dana Carlborg, would like to thank you in advance for all the time you put forth in making this another successful year! A special Thank You goes to those of you who have volunteered to be a concession stand co-chair.
