Let's turn Hornet Nation blue on Fridays in April to raise awareness for autism!

Thank you, everyone, for your donations to Pennies for a Pup!
A combined total of $6,308.56 was raised for Mrs. Raab’s son's seizure-alert dog.
Two classes raised over $1,000, so it was decided that they would both earn a pizza/donut party tomorrow in their classrooms.
Way to go, 3rd-grade class, for raising $1,136.36, coming in behind the 2nd Graders who raised $1,993.31!
Thanks again to all! It’s a great day to be a Hornet!

Order your Hornet apparel today! The store closes at midnight tonight.

Due to the weather conditions that require tomorrow to be an eLearning day, and in the interest of safety for our community, Monday evening's Board of Education meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 18th. The meeting will take place in the Scales Mound Library beginning at 6:00 PM.
Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.

Out of caution and care for the safety of our students, staff, and families, school will be canceled tomorrow, Monday, March 16th, and will be an eLearning Day for our district.
Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we continue supporting learning while prioritizing the well-being of our school community.
Take care and stay safe.

Students worked together to discuss what recess should look like and sound like when we are being good friends. They shared ideas about cheering each other on, solving problems respectfully, inviting others to join games, and using kind words. To capture these ideas, students created posters to remind everyone how we can make recess a positive place for all.
We are proud of the thoughtful conversations and teamwork our students showed. When we focus on kindness, cooperation, and encouragement, recess becomes a place where everyone can have fun and feel included.
