Tomorrow night's Volley for a Cure activities kick off with a meal served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, with drive-thru service available at the ag building.

Meals include a choice of burger, brat, hot dog, and chips, applesauce, and cookies, with a kids' meal option available.

The volleyball game will begin at 6 p.m. as the Hornets face off against the Warren Warriors.

In the lobby and high school hallway, you'll find raffle basket options, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle, all in support of a cancer warrior.

Let's pack the gym!

JoDaviess County is sponsoring an annual Brighter Christmas program. All families can participate if they would like extra support for their family during the holidays. You can request the form from Mrs. Winter at: susanwinter@scalesmound.net. Please complete their form, indicating any needs or requests, and return to the address on the form by October 30th. This is a wonderful program for all families in our area. Please don't hesitate to participate if you can use the extra hand this year!

The 2025 Volley for a Cure match will be held on Thursday, September 25.

Hornet volleyball will host the Warren Warriors starting at 6 p.m.

This year's Volley for a Cure will benefit the Romero family of Warren. Tony, the Warren School nurse and husband of Warren Ag teacher, Sydney, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May 2025. Tony is scheduled for a marrow transplant soon.
