Please send $5 to the school and we will purchase a pallet or two of water to send to those in need.
There will be an envelope for donations in the office, Ms. Schelberger's room, Mrs. Werner's room, and Mrs. Homb's room. Please bring your donations as soon as possible.
JoDaviess County is sponsoring an annual Brighter Christmas program. All families can participate if they would like extra support for their family during the holidays.
You can request the form from Mrs. Winter at: susanwinter@scalesmound.net.
Please complete their form, indicating any needs or requests, and return it to the address on the form by October 30th.
This is a wonderful program for all families in our area. Please don't hesitate to participate if you can use the extra hand this year!

Hornets in Kindergarten through grade 8 are heading to Phoenix Theater tomorrow morning to watch The Wild Robot movie. The PTO generously donated the movie ticket cost; however, we are asking students to bring $5 for popcorn and a small drink combo.
The buses will leave at 8 a.m. and return around noon.
